No, not that Design Mom.
I like to joke that "it's a good thing I got my degree in visual technology so I can design the weekly Relief Society Bulletin" (or used to anyway). Hahaha.
Since becoming a stay-at-home mom I haven't done much designing - a wedding invitation here and there, some Christmas cards. Not even my own blog - sheesh!
Sometimes I think back on my college education and wish I would've explored more of the domestic arts. Those bread-making classes that sounded so boring back then would be so useful now. I knew being a full-time mom was my goal, I just wasn't really into preparing for it back then.
But anyway, I'm actually pretty glad I chose the degree I did. For one, I have a better understanding of (and appreciation for) what my husband does every day. And for another, it's fun to be able to do things like this:
Shirts for our little neighborhood preschool. I have a friend with a vinyl cutter and heat press - sweet!
Eva cried at first that the whole thing wasn't pink. But she's digging it now.
Now, to spruce up this blog...

Cute shirts! I can give you a bread baking class and you won't even have to pay for it!
way cute!! I want to go to Preschool.
Well, y'all need to know that the Kelperson is a fabulous Design Daughter who got our mission blog all in good shape with one hand, and did all her other stuff with the other----and made Mae's chocolate mousse case at the same time.
